Compared to the mobile browser, it gives you a more convenient interface with direct access to your device storage, stem splitting history, and system notifications for completed jobs. The core processing technology and output quality are the same as the web version.
The app is free to download. Processing files requires a LALAL.AI account. The free Starter plan includes 10 minutes in the Relaxed Queue and lets you preview results, but downloading the full output requires a paid plan.
No, the Android app requires an internet connection to process files, as all audio separation runs on LALAL.AI’s cloud servers.
The app is available on Google Play. Search for LALAL.AI or go to the LALAL.AI Android App page and tap the Get from Google Play button.

You can upload files in the following formats:
- Audio: MP3, OGG, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, AAC, M4A.
- Video: AVI, MP4, MKV, MOV, M4V.
Processed files are downloaded in the same format as the original by default.

Yes, your minute balance is shared across all platforms. Any minutes used in the Android app are deducted from the same balance you use on the web.
Subscription management is not available directly in the app. On the LALAL.AI website, hover over the minute balance in the top right corner, open the Profile section, click Manage Subscription, and then click Cancel Subscription.
